Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the MST unit
Assess and monitor patients' conditions, responding quickly to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe discharge
Support unit workflows and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California licensure required or as applicable
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
MST experience or prior medical-surgical/telemetry experience preferred
Comfortable with IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in fast-paced teams
Ability to pass required background checks and comply with facility policies

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and critical thinking for acute care situations
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Medication administration and IV management
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation proficiency
Infection control practices and patient safety protocols
Team collaboration, time management, and patient education
