Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status clearly and promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to plan of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient needs
• Respond to patient concerns and clinical changes with timely interventions
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) required
• Experience working as an RN in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Familiarity with MST responsibilities or willingness to learn MST workflows
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for overnight care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and medication administration
• Knowledge of common overnight nursing workflows and prioritization
• Comfort with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Ability to respond calmly in urgent situations and escalate appropriately
• Good interpersonal skills for patient/family interactions during off-hours
• Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
