Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while monitoring and documenting patient status
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support care plans and smooth handoffs
• Perform assessments and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical judgment
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and communicate effectively with families
• Support infection control and safety standards to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
• Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN) or equivalent RN program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and documentation
• Clinical judgment and timely escalation of changes in condition
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and documentation practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Infection control, safety protocols, and adherence to policies
