Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate MedSurg/Tele patient care to a diverse population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support patient needs across the facility
Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem and manage equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation
MedSurg/Tele patient care
Cerner documentation system
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
