Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday, Nights: Friday-Saturday) and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient outcomes
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with the OB team to manage high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia and diabetes
Support families through both routine and complex birth experiences with compassion

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise with ability to manage 33 weeks and above
Experience with high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use
Strong fetal monitoring and strip interpretation skills
Ability to transition newborns and provide couplet care
Comfort working with Centricity perinatal EFM system
