Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift and night shift, self-scheduling with balanced schedules, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirements per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring strips with confidence and expertise
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-risk pregnancies including patients with diabetes, high BMI, and substance use concerns
Respond to emergent situations with ACLS, NRP, and STABLE training while maintaining AWHONN EFM standards
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient care across the region

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience strongly preferred
Ability to titrate drips and interpret EFM independently
Willingness to work 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing experience
Electronic fetal monitoring interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
High-risk OB patient care
AWHONN guidelines and best practices
