Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rad Tech, 4-hour shifts (start/end times and specific days TBD); includes orientation

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Position patients carefully and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis
Maintain patient records and imaging documentation with accuracy and privacy
Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
Participate in orientation and team training to uphold facility best practices

Qualifications

Certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (e.g., ARRT) preferred
State licensure for Missouri as required for radiologic technologists
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Previous clinical experience preferred; comfort working in outpatient/inpatient settings
Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program
Certification/registration (ARRT) or equivalent credential

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in radiographic imaging techniques and positioning
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record image workflows
Ability to handle patient care sensitively and professionally
Good documentation habits and ability to follow protocols
