Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on patient care under therapist direction, making real differences in recovery journeys
- Document treatment notes and progress updates with precision to track every milestone
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate patient advancements and care plans
- Train nursing staff and families on maintenance programs for seamless transitions
- Maintain a spotless treatment area and report equipment needs to keep everything running smoothly
- Participate in conferences and in-services to elevate rehabilitation standards
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in California, kept in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience in patient care and rehabilitation
- Proficiency in EMR systems like Casamba and Point Click Care
- Commitment to ongoing continuing education per state requirements
