Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ functional abilities and develop individualized OT treatment plans that promote independence
• Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, and adaptive equipment training
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress clearly and timely, using facility-approved systems to communicate clinical decisions
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety strategies, and strategies for long-term success
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse patient needs and changing caseloads with professionalism

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapy license or eligible to obtain state licensure
• NBCOT certification preferred or in progress
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain prior to start
• Excellent clinical reasoning and strong interpersonal skills for team-based care
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Previous experience in outpatient, home health, or rehab settings is a plus

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s in OT or OTD preferred)
• Professional licensure as required by state

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in evaluating and treating activities of daily living and functional mobility
• Proficiency with adaptive equipment, splinting basics, and home safety recommendations
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical charting systems
• Knowledge of evidence-based OT interventions and outcome measurement
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Effective patient and family education techniques

This is a travel contract based in Mountain View, which means you get to explore a delightful slice of Silicon Valley.
