Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for their visit with warmth and professionalism
Take and record vital signs accurately to support clinical decisions
Assist providers during exams and procedures in the ambulatory setting
Document patient encounters in the electronic health record thoroughly and timely
Collect and label specimens per protocol when applicable
Maintain exam rooms and supplies so the clinic runs smoothly
Support infection control and patient safety practices every day

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Clinical experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong patient-facing skills and the ability to communicate clearly
Eligible to pass background check, TB screening, and any required pre-employment checks

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate/diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals, rooming patients, and assisting with basic clinical tasks
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of infection control and patient privacy (HIPAA) principles
Friendly, patient-focused communication and teamwork
