Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse
Location: Mount Olive, NC
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day shift, 12.5-hour shift with 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policy
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support discharge planning and patient education with clear, empathetic guidance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior acute care experience preferred
Education
- LPN: Diploma or practical nursing program graduate
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic life support and emergency response
- Electronic health record (EHR) navigation and charting
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
