Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care that makes a real difference
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and handoffs
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the state of New Mexico (required)
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or PALS a plus depending on unit
• Clinical experience caring for adult patients; recent acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent)
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and patient assessment
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking under pressure
• Skilled in wound care, IV/line monitoring, and basic procedures as appropriate
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and teamwork
