Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs
Document patient status and care interventions clearly and promptly
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Assist with admissions, discharges and patient transfers as needed
Promote a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Georgia) or compact license as applicable
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts and providing hands-on bedside care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or completion of an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Patient assessment and monitoring of changes in condition
Basic wound care and infection control procedures
Accurate charting and electronic medical record familiarity
Time management, prioritization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Compassionate patient and family communication
