Location: Columbus, GA

Start Date: 05-17-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (12.5 hours per shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients with accuracy and empathy
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Document patient care, interventions and observations accurately in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and ancillary staff to support effective care plans
Assist with admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license for the state of Georgia (required)
Proven ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and maintain focus during long clinical periods
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred if available)
Successful background check and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and a patient-first attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Comfortable with patient assessments, vital sign monitoring and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during busy shifts
Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary staff
Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation
