Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to patients with professionalism
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and document patient status clearly
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and care teams to coordinate patient care
Communicate with patients and families in a respectful, informative manner
Follow facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Georgia (or compact authorization if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and provide consistent, reliable coverage
Up-to-date immunizations and willingness to complete background checks and drug screening

Education

Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent LPN program completion

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
Proficient in vital signs monitoring and basic patient assessments
Clear, professional communication and documentation skills
Comfortable using electronic health record systems
Team-oriented mindset with good prioritization and time management
