Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, schedule varies (evening shift); includes every-other-weekend coverage requirement; local-only, OT not guaranteed

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the care team
Support nursing staff with treatment delivery and timely documentation
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) credential for VT/NH as applicable
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Reliable transportation—local-only assignment requires dependable commute
Ability to work evening shifts and every-other-weekend rotations
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant/LNA program or equivalent
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care standards
Skill in taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, and safe patient transfers
Familiarity with documentation practices and reporting changes in condition
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Awareness of infection control and safety protocols
