Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide focused, high-quality critical care to ICU patients during the overnight shift
• Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamics and infusion therapies with precision
• Perform thorough patient assessments and escalate changes promptly
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond to emergencies and perform advanced life support interventions as needed
• Support and educate patients and families with compassion and clarity

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Recent ICU experience, comfortable with high-acuity patient care
• BLS required, ACLS preferred or current
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and rapid clinical decision-making
• Ventilator management and arterial line/central line monitoring
• Infusion pump management and IV medication administration
• Familiarity with common EHR systems and accurate clinical documentation
• Team-based communication and bedside teaching abilities
