Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day). 4x10-style coverage with a rotating day off and scheduled call: one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks (rotating primary/backup).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures safely and efficiently, supporting excellent patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment to industry standards
• Prepare, monitor and document patient care and procedural details in Epic and PACS systems
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures by following protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and advanced practice providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Assist with vascular access procedures including PICC and central venous access
• Support quality assurance, equipment checks and sterile technique in procedure rooms
• Participate in unit-based education and contribute to a teaching-hospital culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Current ARRT registration required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred
• Comfort working in outpatient and ICU settings, and exposure to trauma or teaching hospital environments preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Interventional radiology procedures: angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Vascular access skills including PICC and central venous access
• PACS operation and imaging workflow
• Contrast administration and monitoring
• Experience with C-arm and biopsy procedures
• Familiarity with GI and GU interventions such as nephrostomy and gastrostomy placement
• Strong patient safety and infection control practices
• Ability to chart accurately in Epic and maintain procedural documentation
