Roles & Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight for the entire Occupational Therapy Department
Directly supervise certified Occupational Therapy assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians
Coordinate clinical education and competency processes to elevate team performance
Ensure full compliance with regulations, policies, and professional standards
Oversee the Occupational Therapy policy and procedure manual for top-notch care
Evaluate and treat patients 80% of your time, making a real difference
Assist with program development and administrative tasks 20% of the time

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy
Currently licensed in California by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance
All additional qualifications recommended by the CA Therapy Board and Rehabilitation Services Department
Member of the American Occupational Therapy Association preferred

Education

Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership in clinical oversight and staff supervision
Expertise in evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, and documentation
Knowledge of state practice acts and regulatory compliance
Program development and administrative savvy
