Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray examinations with professional care and accuracy
• Position patients and set up rooms to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Select and apply proper technical factors; evaluate exposures and image quality
• Provide clear patient instruction and preparation guidance for exams
• Schedule exams and coordinate workflow to support efficient imaging services
• Practice and promote radiation safety principles for patients and staff
• Make independent decisions during procedures and adapt in emergent situations
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• ARRT registry required; CT registration is mandatory (must be registered in CT)
• Graduate with ARRT Registry (per job education requirement)
• Comfortable performing both CT and general X-ray duties
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and move equipment (≥20 lbs.)
• Problem-solving mindset and sensitivity to patient needs and privacy

• Computed Tomography (CT) operation and protocols
• General radiography / X-ray techniques and positioning
• Exposure evaluation and image quality assessment
• Radiation safety and adherence to regulatory standards
• Patient instruction and preparation for imaging exams
• Scheduling exams and organizing procedure rooms
• Manual dexterity, agility, and safe patient handling techniques
• Confidentiality and professional communication with multidisciplinary teams
