Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities with dignity
Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and documentation to keep the team informed
Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly so care plans stay current
Create a warm, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
Support mealtime, mobility, and personal hygiene while encouraging resident independence
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
Active/eligible to obtain Pennsylvania CNA certification (state requirements apply)
Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain shortly after hire
Comfortable with physical requirements of the role, including lifting and assisting residents

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong resident-centered care and bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfer techniques
Good communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Attention to detail for documentation and following care plans
Reliable time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
