Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (total hours: 8, exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring team)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting needs
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Help with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
Support admission, discharge and routine care processes with professionalism
Build meaningful relationships with patients and families to enhance their experience

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of a state-approved CNA program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
High school diploma or GED
Background check and health screenings required as part of onboarding
Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing is a plus but new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside skills
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to follow care plans and instructions from licensed nurses
