Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic nursing care to residents and patients
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Document care and observations clearly in the patient chart
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and the care team to support patient needs
Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Valid state credentials appropriate for Pennsylvania practice
Ability to work per diem shifts and adapt to varying schedules
Clear background check and any facility-required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital sign measurement and patient observation
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Reliable documentation and basic charting skills
Teamwork, empathy, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
