Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
• Perform basic clinical tasks under supervision, following care plans and protocols
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical demands of the role

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and comfort with activities of daily living
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
• Good observational skills to identify changes in patient condition
• Teamwork and effective bedside communication
