Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Support patient mobility and safe transfers while following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately in the facility charting system and communicate with the care team
Build rapport with patients and families to create a positive care experience

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or state equivalent (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Compassionate, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene procedures
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection control and standard precautions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic electronic charting or willingness to learn facility documentation systems
