Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, supporting dignity and independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Document care provided clearly and accurately according to facility procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to create a comfortable, safe environment for each resident
• Support meal service and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary needs

Qualifications

• Current GNA classification/certification (Class: GNA) required
• Comfort working the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift
• Compassionate caregiver with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet facility health and employment requirements such as background checks and immunizations

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort with geriatric care and assisting older adults with daily living
• Basic patient safety and infection control practices
• Reliable documentation and good communication with nursing staff
• Ability to follow care plans and quickly report concerns
• Empathy, patience, and respect for resident dignity
