Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs and changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team
• Assist with procedures and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to high-quality care outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license (eligible to practice in North Carolina)
• Clinical competence with adult and/or specialty populations consistent with facility needs
• Ability to work a long day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and adapt to facility staffing needs
• Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Accurate medication administration and documentation
• Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and providers
• Teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
