Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care environment
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document per policy
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary team
- Support resident dignity, independence and quality of life through daily care
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and complete required skills checklists
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with license and facility requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (license verification required)
- BLS required and ACLS required
- Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings and a Trinity 10 panel drug screen
- Up-to-date immunizations or acceptable titers: 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Compassionate bedside manner and experience in long-term care preferred
Education
- Active RN license required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Experience with long-term care standards and resident-centered best practices
- Clear documentation and electronic charting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Infection prevention and control practices and adherence to policy
- Ability to adapt in a per diem/pool environment and manage shifting priorities
