Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Perform thorough assessments and monitor changes in residents' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Document care accurately and timely in the medical record
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support resident goals
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident independence
- Participate in required competency testing including Trinity specialty checks
- Follow infection control practices and facility health requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in Pennsylvania or eligible for verification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- License and certificate verification required prior to start
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
- Current health screenings and immunizations as listed by the facility (TB screening, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
- Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of long-term care nursing best practices
- Strong resident assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Infection prevention and control knowledge
- Familiarity with competency testing processes and skills checklists
- Effective communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary settings
- Comfort working in a per-diem/pool environment with variable schedules
