Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day shift); 12-hour day shifts with flexible scheduling to support 24/7 coverage as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct and indirect nursing care to post-acute, long-term, and rehabilitation residents
- Deliver IV therapy and expert wound care with attention to healing and comfort
- Perform geriatric assessments and contribute to individualized care planning
- Support residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia using tailored verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and care partners
- Float between units (rehab, long-term care, dementia unit) and adapt to changing patient needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold quality and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Valid RN license (State of Maine or compact) — required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent nursing education
- 1-3 years of RN clinical experience preferred in post-acute, long-term care, rehab, or similar settings
- Comfortable providing IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and flexibility to support 24/7 coverage
- Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Medical terminology and clinical assessment skills
- IV therapy and infusion management
- Advanced wound care techniques
- Geriatric assessment and management
- Alzheimer’s/Dementia behavior recognition and de-escalation
- Rehabilitation nursing principles and transitional care
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities
