Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and a warm bedside manner
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility policies and safety protocols
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient conditions clearly in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate effective care plans
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and informed decision making
• Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care across the team
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in clinical care

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (appropriate state licensure required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable is a plus
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable working flexible evening and weekend schedules
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Travel nursing experience is a plus and helps you hit the ground running

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN Associate/Bachelor's degree as appropriate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Excellent clinical assessment and triage abilities
• Proficient with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Basic wound care and patient comfort measures
