Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation and mobility support
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete required documentation
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to support individualized care plans
• Support patient comfort, dignity and safety during overnight care

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California or eligible)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Previous direct patient care experience preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification

• ADLs and bedside care
• Basic vital sign assessment and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Clear communication with patients, families and care teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
