Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
- Assess and monitor patients continuously, responding to changes quickly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about care plans and condition updates
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — ICU experience required
- Active RN license (California preferred or required for practice in CA)
- Comfort and experience working 12-hour night shifts in an ICU setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on per diem assignments
Education
- Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN preferred; RN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Familiarity with ICU protocols and workflows
- Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
- Accurate medication administration and clinical documentation
