Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care and manage mechanical ventilation for critical care patients using PB980 ventilators and V60 NIV
• Deliver high-flow therapy with F&P systems and monitor patient response
• Perform and assist with bedside bronchoscopy procedures as required
• Accurately document assessments and treatments in Meditech
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive patient outcomes
• Demonstrate AIDET and Exemplify Core Values to ensure excellent patient experience
• Float to nearby JW campus as needed and support unit staffing demands

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• VA licensure to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• RRT credentialed by NBRC
• Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience
• Competence with PB980 ventilators, V60 NIV and F&P high flow
• Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems
• Ability to perform bedside bronchoscopy and other ICU procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation management and critical care protocols
• Hands-on experience with PB980, V60 NIV and Fisher & Paykel high flow systems
• Proficient documentation skills in Meditech or equivalent EMR
• Excellent clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Clear communication, teamwork and patient-centered care (AIDET)
• Adaptability to float between campuses and support a busy level 1 trauma center
