Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days: To be scheduled; 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and timely
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and fall prevention measures
Maintain clear, concise documentation and communicate changes in patient status
Support nursing staff and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe care
Help create a comfortable, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — must be current or eligible in New Mexico
Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to per-diem scheduling
Strong patient-focused mindset and reliable attendance
Preferred: previous CNA experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar setting
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings as requested by the facility

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and patient hygiene support
Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs in a busy setting
