Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients
Rapidly assess and triage incoming patients to prioritize care
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and telemetry, and escalate concerns promptly
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and follow-up care

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of California or compact state as applicable
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Previous Emergency Room experience preferred but motivated new ER nurses encouraged to apply
Ability to work per diem shifts and respond to shift needs with a professional, team-first mindset

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, ADN or BSN
BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced ER environment
IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care competency
Familiarity with emergency procedures and resuscitation protocols
Clear, calm communication with patients, families, and the care team
Basic electronic medical record (EMR) navigation and documentation skills
