Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility needs
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and ambulation with proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care and communicate clearly with the nursing team and supervisors
• Demonstrate respect, empathy, and professionalism with patients and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California license preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and reliably attend assigned dates
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation to the assigned facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed and active CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient hygiene, ADLs, and basic bedside care
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs and patient observations
• Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to nursing staff
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Basic charting and documentation skills
