Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and communicate observations to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Create a clean, comfortable environment while following infection control standards
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtained upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are certified are encouraged to apply

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to accurately take and document vital signs
• Familiarity with charting and basic electronic documentation
• Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills
