Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning with attention to safety
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New Mexico or eligible to be certified
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
• Pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in a long-term care or rehab setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs collection and monitoring
• Infection control and proper hand hygiene
• Safe lifting, transfer techniques, and fall prevention
• Clear, concise documentation and effective communication
• Sensitivity to diverse cultural and personal needs of residents
