Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain a clean, comfortable and respectful environment for patients and families
Assist with feeding and nutrition needs and accurately record intake/output as required
Communicate clearly and professionally with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state registry) or completion of an approved CNA program
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility immunization requirements
Dependable, patient-centered attitude with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar clinical setting preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs with strong attention to safety
Proficient at taking and recording vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control practices and patient privacy standards
Comfortable with charting, documentation, and following care plans
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care team members
