Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and consistently
• Support safe mobility and help prevent falls with attentive care
• Document care and resident observations in the charting system
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
• Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean environment
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
• Active/state-appropriate credentials for practice in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on resident care
• Ability to pass required background checks, TB testing, and health screenings
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA program and current state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and personal assistance techniques
• Vital signs measurement and reporting
• Fundamental infection control practices
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
• Time management and the ability to prioritize care tasks
