Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned area
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
• Support safe patient transitions, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Deliver patient and family education with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (must be current and in good standing)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications as applicable
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
• Valid ID and ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program appropriate to licensure (LPN diploma/ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
• Basic wound care, IV/line awareness, and vital signs monitoring
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in fast-paced situations
