Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night (per diem)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Monitor patients’ status and escalate changes to the appropriate provider
Support discharge planning and patient education with clear communication

Qualifications

Current, active LPN or RN license (New Mexico licensure preferred)
BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Professional, reliable, and able to collaborate within a care team

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) or associate/BSN nursing program (RN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and safety
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Infection control and standard precautions
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
