Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents in a skilled nursing/long term care setting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor resident condition during overnight hours and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies, including state vaccination requirements
• Collaborate with the care team to promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification required
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) required
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts
• COVID vaccinations required by state mandate
• Open to travel CNA applicants; candidate must be prepared for shared furnished housing arrangements

• Skilled nursing facility care and long term care best practices
• Night shift patient monitoring and assessment
• Resident assistance with ADLs and mobility support
• Clear communication and teamwork during overnight handoffs
• Basic documentation and charting of resident care
