Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across acuity levels
• Perform treatments, airway management, and therapeutic interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust respiratory plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, ventilator settings, and patient response
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to ensure clinical excellence
• Adhere to infection control practices and required health screenings and vaccinations

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapy certification and ability to verify license/certificates
• BLS required
• PALS required
• ACLS required
• NRP required
• DCI/BVP required
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Successful completion of drug screen, TB testing, and required immunizations/exams

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in respiratory therapy procedures and patient assessment
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing coverage on rotating weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with competency testing and skills verification processes
• Flexibility with scheduling and adaptability to changing team needs
