Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely and confidently
Perform wound care, suturing assistance, and basic procedures with skill
Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic health record
Collaborate with providers and the care team to deliver efficient urgent care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, aftercare, and follow-up plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
Experience in urgent care, ER, or fast-paced ambulatory settings preferred
Strong clinical assessment and triage skills with excellent communication
Ability to work independently on per-diem shifts and adapt quickly

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and urgent care assessment skills
IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration
Wound care, splinting, and basic suturing support
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Patient education, discharge teaching, and care coordination
Teamwork, time management, and calm decision-making under pressure
