Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Room with an OB focus, following ANA standards
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Implement timely interventions and evaluate patient responses
Document care accurately and efficiently using EPIC
Assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport via wheelchair or stretcher
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth, safe patient flow
Maintain required certifications and participate in department competency testing

Qualifications

Active Rhode Island RN license required
Demonstrated Emergency Medicine experience with OB experience required
EPIC proficiency required
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP and NIH Stroke Certification required
English proficiency and ability to communicate clearly with patients and team
Able to assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport
Compliance with employer vaccination and health requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Care planning, intervention, and evaluation skills
Emergency nursing and obstetrics nursing knowledge
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
Familiarity with specialty competency testing and skills checklists
