Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed nursing care to members, with a focus on MST-related needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately in the EHR
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate member-centered care
• Educate members and families on care plans, follow-up, and community resources
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly and participate in care planning and transitions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Experience providing nursing care in outpatient, community, or behavioral health settings preferred
• Experience or familiarity with MST (Military Sexual Trauma) care is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain) recommended
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred where available

Knowledge & Skills

• Trauma-informed care principles and sensitivity to MST-related needs
• Comprehensive patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and charting accuracy
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and escalate clinical issues appropriately
