Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned shift
• Conduct thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Deliver trauma-informed care for patients with MST needs and ensure dignity and respect
• Educate patients and families about care plans, interventions, and follow-up
• Escalate changes in patient condition promptly and participate in handoffs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Experience or training in MST or trauma-informed care is highly desirable
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/PALS as applicable preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and experience with med administration
• Reliable professional demeanor, excellent communication, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Nursing diploma graduates with active RN license will be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and IV competency
• Trauma-informed care principles and sensitivity to MST issues
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Strong interpersonal communication and patient education
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
