Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient status throughout the shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document clinical care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic health record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
Respond promptly to emergent situations and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred or as applicable
Experience working as an RN in acute care or relevant clinical setting preferred
Familiarity or experience with MST care considerations is a plus
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Infection control and safety best practices
Patient and family education techniques
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple clinical tasks under pressure
